Our Mission
To support Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Delnor Hospital through programs of fundraising, public awareness and community service.
Today, these top two state and regionally ranked hospitals are part of one of the very best health care systems in the nation and are the heart of our mission.
Since its inception in 1960, the Auxiliary has raised and donated more than $10 million to the hospitals and the community they serve. Recent Auxiliary funded projects include: $1.2 million raised to build the Ronald McDonald House® near Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) in Winfield, $500,000 pledge supporting The LivingWell Cancer Center in Geneva, ongoing support of HomeCare Physicians Group, $450,000 pledge supporting the Douglas L. Johnson Endowed Chair for Neurosciences Award, Behavioral Health Services and ongoing support for our Pediatric patients.
Shopping at the CDH and Delnor Gift Shops further supports the many philanthropic efforts of the Auxiliary.
Our membership is open to anyone who is interested in actively supporting Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage and Delnor Hospitals.
If you have a philanthropic and volunteer spirit, join our team.

The Auxiliary’s history exemplifies the immense power of being from the community and for the community. The accolades our hospitals receive today would not have been possible but for a handful of local volunteers many years ago.
